An Exciting Night in the Deck Gazebo
My first experience with a deck gazebo came in the summer of 2008, which was my last summer of being single. I have a group of girlfriends who are made up of some of the most wonderful and fun loving ladies I know. I love hanging out with my girls they are so much fun to be with.
Ellen, one of them invited a bunch of us for a dinner at her parent’s house, because we’ve never been to her parents’ before. We didn’t really know what to expect, but her parents house had a deck gazebo. But our hostess didn’t mention that, I’m sure she meant it as a surprise, knowing how excited we would be.
This party went on at first in the confines of her house with greetings, dancing and laughing. Ellen’s parents were away on vacation, that meant the whole house was our play ground! We truly made good use of it. The high point of this party came when she invited us all to get prepared for our meal. I laugh now at myself when I remember how I made for the dining table, my mouth watering anticipating a lovely meal. Believe me I was starving after all the dancing.
But when she invited us out on the deck, a table inside the deck gazebo was elegantly made and prepared with a feast! The food tasted more delicious to me than I’m sure it would normally have tasted if it was in a conventional in-house dining room. Ellen’s party remains one of the best dinners I’ve ever been to. That night we all stayed on the deck gazebo joking and laughing all through the night. What a fun night it was!
